Specifications:
The Tactical Field Observation System (TFOS) can be shipped with all items inside Tri-con (8’ long x 6.5’ wide x 8’ tall) container.
TFOS can be slung and moved by helicopter, transported on back of truck and unloaded with mechanical assistance on site or by using Pro-Pallet Transport System.
- Once on site, the DC hydraulic lift system can be used to unload the container.
- The Pro-Pallet Transport System can also be used to pick up container and reposition to new location.
- Optionally, the Pro-Pallet Transport System can have surge brakes and 24 vdc lights so that it can be deployed by military vehicle.
SOU option:
- DC hydraulic scissor lift (with back-up system) is raised and locked into deployment position and can be lowered for rearming, storage, and redeployment.
- Comprised of steel and glass panels with a ladder attached to inside of door, which can be reattached to outside of left door to provide access to the observation unit.
- Wall and roof panels can be installed to provide open air unit and door panel is available. Windows are attached to all 4 sides.
- Once the SOU has been assembled the platform can be raised and locked into the deployment position. Guards’ eyes will be approximately 14ft up from ground level.
- On site options to assemble the SOU with ballistic protection or completely without mechanical assistance.
